Walking by Faith When Insecurities Try to Speak Louder Than God:

It has been a while since I have written from the depths of my heart. Life has a way of pausing us unexpectedly. Sometimes God allows us to sit still long enough to hear what we ignored while we were busy moving. During this season, I had to sit back, be quiet, and truly listen to the voice of God.
Not the voice of fear.
Not the voice of insecurity.
Not the voice of doubt.
But the voice of the One who called me.
I must say this boldly today: God is able.
There were moments where my faith felt challenged by what I could physically see around me. There were days where my spirit wrestled with questions, disappointments, delays, and silent tears. I found myself asking God, “Why hasn’t this happened yet?” or “Lord, did I hear You correctly?” Yet in those quiet moments, God reminded me that walking by faith has never depended on visible proof.
Faith requires trust beyond comfort.
Many of us carry dreams, visions, ministries, books, businesses, healing, and callings inside of us that have not yet come into fruition. But I want you to ask yourself honestly:
What has not come into fruition within your inner spiritual self?
What gifts have been sitting dormant because fear convinced you that you were not enough?
What purpose have you delayed because insecurity whispered louder than destiny?
What prayers have you stopped praying because the wait became too heavy?
The enemy loves to attack the mind before he attacks anything else. He plants seeds of fear, comparison, insecurity, and discouragement hoping we will abandon what God placed inside of us. Yet God never called us to walk by emotions. He called us to walk by faith.
Sometimes the greatest spiritual battles happen privately.
People may see the smile, the ministry, the social media posts, or the accomplishments, but they do not see the inner wrestling that takes place behind closed doors. They do not see the moments where you are asking God to strengthen your heart while trying not to fall apart emotionally.
But God sees it all.
He sees every tear.
Every silent prayer.
Every disappointment.
Every attempt to keep believing.
And even in those moments, He is still able.
I had to remind myself that delays are not denials. Sometimes God is preparing us spiritually before He releases what we prayed for naturally. We often want immediate answers, but God desires spiritual maturity. We ask for doors to open while God is strengthening our character to handle the room we are praying to enter.
There is also something powerful about stillness.
Stillness allows us to hear God clearly.
Stillness exposes distractions.
Stillness reveals hidden wounds.
Stillness teaches us dependency on God instead of dependency on people, platforms, validation, or applause.
I realize now that some of my insecurities were rooted in moments where life challenged my confidence. Yet God continuously reminded me that my identity is not based on public approval. My identity is rooted in Him.
The Bible reminds us that faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. That means even when I cannot physically touch it, God is still working behind the scenes.
Maybe you are in a season right now where you feel uncertain.
Maybe you have become tired spiritually.
Maybe you started questioning your purpose.
Maybe you stopped writing, creating, praying, dreaming, or believing.
But let this encourage you today:
God has not forgotten you.
The promise still stands.
Your purpose still matters.
Your voice still carries power.
Your testimony still has meaning.
And your journey — even the painful parts — will bless somebody else.
Do not allow temporary emotions to make permanent decisions concerning your destiny. Continue walking by faith even when the road looks unclear. Continue trusting God even when your prayers seem delayed. Continue believing even when insecurity tries to revisit old wounds.
Because God is able.
Not sometimes.
Not occasionally.
But always.

For Your Word says in Romans 8:28:
“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.”
So today, I surrender every fear, every unanswered prayer, and every burden into Your hands, knowing that You are working all things together for my good.
In Jesus Mighty Name,
Amen.
