Submitting To God’s Will

Father, I pray that whoever is reading this, that your divine power and love be filled in their minds, hearts and souls. In jesus’ name!

In our lives, we often face challenges and uncertainties that can lead to feelings of anxiety, doubt, and frustration. It’s during these times that we can find comfort and peace by surrendering our will to God’s. When we submit to His divine plan, we trust that He knows what is best for us, even when we don’t understand.

Scripture References:

  1. Romans 12:1-2: “Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of all that Christ Jesus has done for us, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”

2. Matthew 6:33: “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”

  1. Philippians 4:6-7: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.”

The Power of Submission:

When we submit to God’s will, we acknowledge His sovereignty and trust in His goodness. This can lead to a sense of peace, contentment, and purpose. It can also help us to overcome obstacles and find joy even in difficult circumstances.

Submitting to God’s will doesn’t mean that we will never face challenges or hardships. However, it does mean that we can approach these situations with a different perspective. Instead of focusing on our own desires and expectations, we can trust that God has a greater plan for our lives.

How to Submit to God’s Will:

  • Spend time in prayer: Prayer is a powerful tool for connecting with God and expressing our desires and fears. When we pray, we can surrender our will to His and trust in His plan.
  • Study God’s Word: The Bible is a source of wisdom, guidance, and inspiration. By studying the Bible, we can learn more about God’s character and His ways.
  • Surrender your control: Let go of your need to be in control of every situation. Trust that God knows what is best for you.
  • Seek guidance from others: Talk to trusted friends, family members, or spiritual leaders who can offer support and encouragement.

Submitting to God’s will is a powerful act of faith that can bring great peace and joy into our lives. By trusting in His plan, we can find strength and resilience even in the face of all adversity.
